About e-SP™

The Hertz Equipment Rental e-SERVICES Program™ (e-SP™) is a complete web-based platform designed around two key principles: (1) Ease of use and (2) Personalization

e-SP™ allows customers to create a personalized web experience to improve management of their Hertz Equipment Rental account. Customers can create a personal profile which is saved and stored throughout the application for rental, sales and reporting operations. Profiles can be reviewed and modified at any time.

Account Administration

e-SP™ provides Administrators the authority to grant user rights for internal employees. Administrators can invite users to their account, set up access to specific accounts, grant unique user rights and set privileges to view individual reports. They can also control access to the account from a search function which allows Administrators to modify and delete individual rights, accounts and report access for their members.

Personalize Your Experience

An e-SP™ account can be personalized for each member. Once logged in all equipment categories that are specific to a customer’s contract appear directly on the Homepage with options to ‘Rent’ or ‘Buy’. The program allows members to create a customized profile and save preferences for the equipment they rent most often, as well as for jobsites they typically rent from, to help expedite future reservation requests. Simplified equipment ordering based on Preferences or On-line Order History can be done through the Quick Res option as well. Since the equipment options and rental rates displayed within your account are specific to your contract, you can obtain total estimated rental charges for the development of cost estimates, bid preparations, and ordering. We also give users the opportunity to review past and present rental reservation requests, and pending requests of those members with whom the Administrator has set up to require approval.

On-line Reporting Functionality/Equipment Management

e-SP™ allows customers to manage their Hertz Equipment Rental account on-line by: Viewing account activity; Researching financial and operational information; Creating reservation requests; Releasing equipment and/or extending contracts on-line; Scheduling automated reports; and much more.

With a real-time customer reporting system we give customers the ability to view/print reports through a secure Internet connection available online 24/7.

  • Reports available for download in “.csv” format. Easy transfer into MS Excel, Access, etc. for custom reporting and capture of historical rental data.
  • Release or Extend Rentals on-line without having to contact your servicing location.
  • Automatic Email Notification of all Overdue Rental Contracts in which users can ‘Extend’ their contract or ‘Release’ equipment directly from an email.
  • Schedule Automatic Reports via email based on a set frequency and duration you wish to receive them.
  • Roll-up information for multiple accounts into one report to be sent via email based on user’s selected schedule. This allows users to select multiple or all accounts to compile into one report and view information based on the entire contract if so desired.
  • On-line Credit Card Payment provides members the convenience of paying invoices on-line via credit card.
  • Advanced Downloading Capabilities affords members the option to download a customized report based on the selection fields offered in the summary and detailed reports.
